Nui Harime is a member of the global REVOCS Corporation, run by Ragyo Kiryuin. She reveals herself as the killer of Ryuko Matoi's father, Isshin Matoi, and the one who stole the other Scissor Blade. Nui is a key antagonist who serves Ragyo's plans, first appearing in episode 3 as a Grand Couturier at Honnouji Academy. Her actions directly drive Ryuko's quest for revenge and the larger conflict against the Life Fibers.

After the heroes destroy the transmitter and extract Rei from Shinra-Kōketsu, Ragyo restores its power by absorbing Harime and the Primordial Life Fiber.
